The insects and pollinators of Fynbos

Many of the plants in the Cape Floristic Region have some very unusual polinators, from ants to mice and exotic long-tonged flies with exotic names. Some plants have evolved  along with their specific polinator, with their adaptions becoming more and more ‘extreeme’ in the race to make sure that none of their pollen goes to waste.
